Why use a bond coat?
Bond coats are a good choice for adding a levelling layer of concrete on the road for repair work.
Contact
The bond coat acts as the adhesive glue between the two concrete layers, creating a structure that performs as a unit rather than independent layers. This reduces the risk of slippage between the surfaces, reducing the severity of road distresses. This, in turn, increases the service life of the surface. Bond coating is also used in patching applications where priming and waterproofing are required.

Know more about bond coating
Bond coat or tack coat is a hot or cold bitumen emulsion or PMB (Polymer Modified Binder) bitumen emulsion. It is an essential element of the road or paving structure. The bond coating is laid by a machine at a temperature of up to 60°C and sprayed onto an existing asphalt or concrete surface, or between two new asphalt layers. Once the bond coat is in place it should be given time to cure. The curing takes only a few minutes.
At Joint2joint Spray Services, we are experts at bond coat application. We use lorry mounted spray tankers (2000lt to 13000lt in size). Bond coat application should be spread evenly to achieve maximum coverage of the surface.
